SALONE INTERNAZIONALE DEL GUSTO e TERRA MADRE

The event is first of all a food market, a place where to meet and aggregate, where to talk business and exchange, integrated with a massive dose of wine and food culture, ethical and social awareness. Still, it’s also a market model, that displays in five days, inside the Lingotto Fiere’s pavilions, the positive forces of good, clean and right food, involved all around the world in practicing, all year long, consciously or not, the Slow Food philosophy. In 2012, for the first time, the Salone del Gusto and Terra Madre were put together: a unique event which completed a journey started in 2004 – the year Terra Madre was born, the worldwide network among food communities – and that would have described the extraordinary agricultural and food differences that characterizes each continent, given voice to the ones that produce, breed and transform their products.
